A SILENCE PRODUCTION began in 2002 better known as Silence Magazine, an online music publication. Over the years Silence adopted many different mediums and was well ahead of the convergence curve. In 2004-2005 violent hurricanes destroyed their current hosting & domain holder's head-quaters resulting in a loss of everything that Silence had built to date.
In 2006 founder Dustin Reid teamed up with Ryan Feerer to revamp Silence by starting up a media collective group and record label with the imprint of Murkville Music. The label has five releases under it's belt with four more already in production. One of the releases in 2008 will include the Murkville soundtrack titled, Cooyamintad Vol. 1, of which has contributing artists Page France, Peter and the Wolf, Anathallo and many others have written original songs based on a book that co-founder Ryan Feerer along with Silence partner Andy Smith have written and illustrated about a mystical world called Thy Old Murkville Forest.
A Silence Production acts as a record label, booking agent, distributor, management, film production, artist development & graphic design firm. We are a media creator as well as a media outlet. Most importantly we have a business motto of art & community first. We see to it that good art prevails.
There are a vast array of other projects that A Silence Production have been involved with. Some of the more notable endvours that we are proud of include: 24fps (frames per second) International Film Festival at the Historic Paramount Theater in Abilene, the Heartbeat Campaign (Aids Awarness Non-Profit Organization) & Monks (music venue in Abilene, Texas).

Sometimes referred to as Doctor Jones (mainly by himself), Dustin Reid is a Dallas alum who is stuck in the black hole known as Abilene, Texas. Obviously he moved there for college despite knowing his aspirations of becoming a full-time filmmaker would be somewhat stunted by a certain bearucratic university. None-the-less, Dustin is finished with a minor in English and will be wrapping up his major in "Electronic Media" in the fall of 2008 in order to receive his decree degree. Until then he will be DJ-ing with The Earlies' John Mark Lapham every Sunday night at Dos Amigos bar in Abilene. Dustin's birthdate is often found amusing to some: born April 20th 1984.

On a warm, lifeless morning in 1983, two culturally ambiguous parent gave Ben life. He entered the world an only child, as his solo state became clearer as he grew elder, he mused often upon thoughts in order to keep himself occupied. His parents noticed his peculiar preoccupation and chose to nurture his ever-increasing abilities by enrolling him in all finest schools with the finest instructors, and involving him all the finest extra-curicular activities. After an exhilarating education, he decided that he was bored and he should try something different.
Though no man has yet divined what avenue Ben pursued, it is a common held belief that he currently acts under several assumed pseudonyms, all of which are high-ranking and functioning at the highest level. Thus, the first, for none had come before, Renaissance man was truly born.

Matt Worthington is originally from San Antonio, TX (born and raised). Since then, he has traveled various parts of the United States and Europe, sending presents back to his three older brothers and especially his two nieces and his mother. He currently resides in Abilene, TX where he presides over the student body at Abilene Christian University while studying English and Acting. In his best moments, he helps to make music, acts in plays, writes good stories, tells better ones, and makes pretty fantastic food. In his worst, he works at his side job sending out emails that Microsoft (Bill Gates) and AOL Time Warner, the two biggest internet companies IN THE WORLD, will pay you for if you forward the email to ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS (It was on GOOD MORNING AMERICA, THE TODAY SHOW, and OPRAH). It's only the worst because Microsoft and AOL haven't followed through yet.

Ryan Feerer is a strapping 6'3'' creative powerhouse who hails from Texas, resides in New York, and inhabits Murkville, an immersive world for young adults comprised of an illustrated novella, interactive website, and original soundtrack. After receiving his MFA from the School of Visual Arts, Feerer co-founded A Silence Production, a design firm, artist development agency, and music label, which includes the Murkville Music imprint.

Paul Bryan was born on a river boat in New Orleans and immediately dunked into the river, as it was and still is the local custom. In 1998 he suffered a tragic and fictional accident in which he lost his right hand. Fortunately through the miracles of science the doctors were able to attach a camera in its place. Paul lives east of Dallas where he serves as chief photographer for Texas A&M Commerce.

Andy Smith (b. 1984, d. _) attended a college in West Texas called ACU for 9 semesters where he received a degree in graphic arts and a minor in creative writing. In 2005, Andy wrote and directed a a seminal full length film with the help of Dustin Reid called "Bruce Underwater." Since its conception, the film has been embraced and immortalized by the public, though widely ignored by critics. Some recent projects have been a short story called "Night at le Castle Bivouac" which is in its final editing stages, a novella for Ryan Feerer's imaginative/expansive project "Murkville," and a short film co-written with William J. Fatzinger which is currently in pre-production. He has recently been lecturing in Philadelphia on various subjects.
